Pastors Chris and Kim Hoyt are the Founding and Co-Pastors of Journey Church Ministries. Having served together for the last twenty three years at churches in Williamsburg, VA, Hampton, VA, and San Antonio, TX, they answered the call to start Journey Church! 

As natives of Newport News, they are excited to be back home raising their three children and pastoring in the city they grew up in. 

Their oldest son, Caden (17), enjoys writing, listening to music, and drawing. He is a Senior at the same high school his parents graduated from. Their middle son, Micah (12), is creative and loves music and drumming. Their youngest daughter, JoAnna (10), prefers to go by Jojo. Jojo loves cats and horses and is trying to figure out how to get her dad to buy a horse to keep at their house. 

Pastors Chris and Kim work in other career fields in addition to Pastoring Journey Church. Pastor Kim is a licensed cosmetologist who enjoys the creative outlet of doing hair and helping people feel great. Pastor Chris serves as the Corporate Chaplain for Worley's Home Services. 

Their hobbies include working out, ketogenic coaching, podcasting, and binge-watching Netflix (when Pastor Chris can stay awake).
